Learn to weave on a peg loom.

This simple method of weaving allows you to create soft, chunky rugs and seatpads using wool.

We will be using raw fleece, shorn from our flock of Black Welsh Mountain ewes.

During the day, you will make a seat pad or small rug.

learn to:

• Select the best fleeces for weaving

• Set up the peg loom - choosing and measuring the warp threads

• Weave using raw fleece

There will also be a chance to enjoy a short farm walk at lunchtime, where you will meet our lovely flock, along with some of our other farm animals.

Homecooked lunch provided, along with plenty of tea, coffee and baking throughout the day.

All materials provided.

You are also welcome to bring your own fleece to use.
