Fleeces for Sale

All fleeces are clean, dry, skirted and lightly picked over. Minimal vegetable matter.

Fleeces are sold raw, unwashed

Our sheep were not dipped or treated with fly sprays etc prior to shearing.

Black Welsh Mountain fleeces are soft, and range in colour from jet black to browns and gingers.

Great for spinning or making peg look rugs. They also felt easily.

We have some fleeces which are suitable for wet felting into rugs - 'vegetarian sheepskins'

2025 fleeces will be listed individually shortly

(will pack multiples together where possible to reduce this)

We will have a variety of fleeces - some well held/partially felted and suitable for 'vegetarian' sheepskins.

Others looser and more suitable for spinning or needle felting projects.

Smaller or part fleeces, not individually catalogued.

Still good useable wool in these - either for smaller projects or as backing for a felted rug.

WE also have some fleeces with more VM in them, which would be most suitable for use in the garden as a mulch and slug deterrent.
